A 30 minute, 8km boat ride from Yan’s Kuala Sungai Udang jetty takes you to a 62-acre, hill island with unique red rocks, formed from mahang formation since 450 million years ago. Indeed this area is scientifically significant as it is left over from Holocene era marine geological sea level change processes. The rocks, white sands and corals in clear waters make Songsong ideal for beach activities, snorkeling and more. With basic facilities available, group day programmes can also be catered for.
