This large reservoir is the perfect place to
relax amidst placid waters and green hillls.
A main source of domestic water use for
Kedah, Muda means ‘young’ in Malay and
the lake is less than 40km from Sik town.
Visitor facilities such as proper car park, food
stalls, restrooms and surau are available. The
lake is also a source of freshwater fish and
fishing activity is carried out. There’s even
a fish sales area where the freshest catch is
available if you happen to be around at the
right time. A boat ride with a local fisherman
can also be pre-arranged.
